Disney 'XL'  Designed by Ernst Disse

The Disney XL is a slightly enlarged version of the normal Disney. The 'XL' is 4% larger!
This will add some weight to the complete model, but it also adds a lot of wing and fuselage area, the XL has got 16% more area. Using the same equipment as on the 100% Disney will give you a model that flies even slower and more gracious.

Only 4% bigger, but it makes a huge difference, the XL is a big plane

Very small changes have been made compared to the original Disney, wingtip and cockpit are little bit less fragile. Fuse area is slightly larger and a bit more area is behind the CG to improve knife-edge even further.

Advise on equipment:
You will be building a plane used for precision aerobatics, this will make some choices a bit more costly then your average 'just-build-and-fly' indoor model.
When build with good quality servo's your model will fly very predictable, making learning to fly the indoor 'C-schedule' much easier.
The main decision for servo's is first on centering, then on speed, then on weight.

It's better to fly with a cheap(er) motor/esc then with poor servo's, especially on the Disney-XL with it's huge control surfaces.
